Memorandum between Western Nebraska
Community College, PPHHS, PPHD, and RNHN to create a Training Academy which affords the opportunity
to earn a degree in occupational studies while employed and to develop common skill sets for employees.

Over $50,000 in Academy funds have been used to provide training specific to youth prevention
and community organizing including evidenced based practices.

80% of the Panhandle newborns receive a free home visits for health and social support through
the collaboration of hospitals, nurses, and family advocates.

Over $1.1 million in free and reduced prescription drugs for citizens since February 2004

200 children received free dental screenings (totaling $100,000 of care) through the dental
day partnership.

Over 800 children receive free enhanced school health screenings through a partnership of
schools, clinics, and volunteer providers ( PT, OT, Chiropractors, eye and hearing professionals, and dentists) as part of
the Child Health First Program.
